Canaries
Why November?
The Canary Islands in November are the go-to option for travellers who want warm weather without a long-haul flight. Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, and Fuerteventura all average 20–23°C in November with the sea still warm from summer. The islands are noticeably quieter than winter peak season (which starts from December as the long-stay British retiree population arrives). November is genuinely one of the better months to visit the Canaries — uncrowded, inexpensive, and consistently warm.
Who it suits
Couples and adults who want a warm autumn getaway, those who want walking and outdoor activities on the islands rather than beach life, and budget-conscious travellers who want the best of the Canaries at low-season prices.

Honest warning: The sea temperature in the Canaries drops to around 20–21°C in November — still warm enough for swimming but noticeably cooler than summer. November can bring occasional rain on Tenerife's north coast. The south is consistently drier.
